Adding or Editing an Internal Referent
In Billabex, an internal referent is a member of your team assigned to one or more customer accounts. They are identified as the primary point of contact on the company side when human intervention is needed (e.g., dispute, blockage, validation).
Assigning a referent to each account allows the AI agent to better coordinate its actions and notify the right person at the right time.
Adding an internal referent
1. Go to the Accounts module.
2. Click on an account from the list.
3. Open the Details submenu.
4. Click the Add button in the Internal Referents section.
Fill in the following information:
- First and last name
- Email address (used for AI agent notifications)
- Role (optional but useful for informing the AI agent about the referent's responsibilities)
- Notes (optional but useful for providing additional context to the AI agent)
- Language (useful for adapting the language of notifications)
- Primary contact (lets the AI agent know if this is the preferred contact for account-related notifications)
5. Click Save.
A single account can have multiple internal referents. The most relevant one will be identified by the AI agent using the Primary contact field.
Editing an existing internal referent
1. Go to the relevant account page.
2. Open the Details submenu.
3. In the Internal Referents section, click the 3 vertical dots on the referent's card.
4. Update the desired fields.
5. Save your changes.
Deleting an internal referent
1. Go to the relevant account page.
2. Open the Details submenu.
3. In the Internal Referents section, click the 3 vertical dots on the referent's card.
4. Click Delete.
If no referent is defined, the AI agent will continue sending notifications to organization members.
